How to turn a sketch into a photorealistic render
Step 1
Upload the sketch
Photograph or scan the drawing and upload the image. Crop out the title block and anything that is not the building, because every mark on the sheet is read as information.

Say what it is made of
One line is enough. Name the materials, the time of day and the setting, for example buff brick and dark bronze frames, late afternoon, dense terrace street.

One thing to get right
Ink reads better than pencil, and a flat photograph without a shadow across the page reads better than either. If the sketch is ambiguous about a surface, say what it is in the brief rather than hoping the model guesses.
